Little Bighorn Memorial Run
The Little Bighorn Memorial Run, a 50 mile spiritual run to commemorate and honor the Sioux, Cheyenne and Arapaho ancestors that defeated the 7th Calvry in the Battle of the Little Bighorn June 25, 1876. Youth from the three tribes come together on June 25th to run from the Medicine Deer Rocks where Sitting Bull held a Sundance to the Little Bighorn Battlefield. This run takes approximately 6 hours. |
